Chas - Terms of Service

The app
Chas is a time-tracking app for macOS developed by klvr.dev. It is provided free of charge, "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind. All features are available to everyone.
License
Use of the copy distributed through the Mac App Store is governed by Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement.
Donations
The app offers optional donations - one-time and recurring - as a way to support development. Donations do not unlock any features or content. All payments are processed by Apple through the App Store; the developer never receives your payment details. Refunds are handled by Apple under its standard policies via reportaproblem.apple.com.
Recurring support subscription
The recurring support option is an auto-renewable subscription. It renews automatically at the end of each period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before renewal. You can manage or cancel it at any time on your Mac in the App Store app → your name → Account Settings → Subscriptions, or in System Settings → Apple Account → Media & Purchases → Subscriptions. Cancelling stops future charges; it does not retroactively refund past periods.
Your data
Your tracked data belongs to you and is stored only on your device. See the Privacy Policy for details.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for any indirect or consequential damages arising from the use of the app, including loss of data. Chas provides export and backup tools; keeping backups of important data is your responsibility.
Changes
These terms may be updated from time to time; the current version will always be posted on this page with a new effective date.
